Description

Years ago, humanity and its heroes achieved the impossible: they stopped the Devourer, a voracious plague that nearly consumed the continent of Nebulozo. Their supreme sacrifice created a temporal dome, freezing the war at its climax and leaving a warning message: "Twenty years. Prepare yourselves."

Now, time is running out. The dome is about to fall, and the monstrous horde lying in stasis threatens to awaken and resume its feast of annihilation. While Nebulozo lives under the shadow of sacrifice, a new generation must rise. Can the inheritors of this desperate truce find the strength and unity to face an enemy that the previous generation could not completely eradicate, or is the world doomed to succumb to the echoes of a war that never truly ended?

First things first, the grammar and style here are Ay Okay Immaculate. Ain't no problems whatsoever. The prose is simple and concise and I could get through the story super easy and I could visualise all the scenes in my head just as easily as well so kudos to the authors. I got like a post-apocalyptic medieval vibe from the western Empire here but the whole situation do feel like Tyrannid-Mongol monstrer invasion so looking forward to see where that leads us.
The world is immersive and the setting is great. The author describes the harrowing effects of a brutal and destructive war well enough and the use of 'rations' as a sort of currency really hammers in how dire the stakes truly are in the city and the empire as a whole. I also enjoy how there's a clear and tangible end goal to the story from the very part so that's a whole lot of problems that have been avoided.
The characters here are great and shine through. The MC's voice is reasonable, he has a good head on his shoulders and he's got decent friends too. I like that one serious Alastor Moody-type professor. Watching that one brat get schooled in front of the class was sureally satisfying. Also enjoyed the tidbits of corruption in human societies even when the entire world has gone to the crapper. The only thing I can say however is that I wanted just a tad more explanation on the main monsters but besides that, good stuf here. Good charaters, believable dialogues, realistic motives.
All in all this here's a great story and I'd love for more people to try it. Cheers mate!

We were already warned that there is a countdown to apocalypse from the very beginning. 20 years to freedom or wipeout. Stakes are high.
Premise: You have created a very detailed history, geography, culture and ecology for your continent. The different names for your final boss monsters—Them, Devourers, Gluttony, Maelstrom—are memorable and distinct. And the condensation of inner force from gaseous to solid state? Chef's kiss. It's like Qi, but better. A map of your continent might help readers better visualize the Maelstrom's invasion paths and region layout.
Character: Grounded and believable backstory. That said, I think a little visual description (or signature traits) could make the characters stand out more.
Tone & Style: Fluent, direct, atmospheric—and refreshingly lack of purple prose. I'd suggest to add a bit more paragraph spacing to ease digestion, especially for longer exposition sections.
    Looking forward to read more.
