- BALROGBOOGIERoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Really interesting.
I'll come back and fill out this review later on in the story. - Despised670Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I really like the ideas on their powers and op mc there with easy fights. But the characters lack depth, the world feels small because of the lack of interactions and there very few people that are slightly relevant to the story.
Characters lack depth- the story may look deep because there are schemes, unexpected situations, secret identities of enemies, etc. But the way the characters that are relevant to the story introduced doesn't have much emotions to it, it lacks that strong feeling that shouts in your mind that the character is important. it only feels that the character is only there because the mc needs something or because there is a lack of enemies.
But it's still amazing despite all of that because it really shows you that the story is a very light hearted one and a cute one too. Its not a novel where the mc struggles too much and its not dark, just simple schemes. Maybe the character's depth does matter but not that much, maybe thats what make this novel so simple but desirable. - WecareRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Marvelously interesting story. Improves as the author goes along.
- tenaciouspfcRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Although this novel has many similarities to other cultivation and litrpg novels, it adds these ideas in a new and creative way, making it an enjoyable read and a refreshing novel without many clichés!
- ivoSFRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5it is a nice story with wuxia elements, but they are more a sidedish.
good proportion of main dish and side dish - BansheePandaRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5En. Having the ability to eat anything and everything would be wonderful. I sincerely love glutton characters.
Story wise, this fic is great. I took a look through some of the other reviews, and honestly was just dumbfounded by how many of them only rated somewhere in the middle.
Now, I'll be the first to tell you, I really suck at writing reviews. Mostly because I'm too lazy to critically analyze something I'm reading for fun. (And something I'm sure the author is writing for the same purpose.) That said, I can only give my two cents about this Eat and Grow Strong in the simplest terms possible.
Venerable Turtle, this is a wonderful story that masterfully combines two of my most favorite genres of fiction. You've struck a nice balance concerning the number of status screens, and I can honestly only thank you for giving us a concise and clear cut blue screen displaying Xiao Ren and Xue'er's stats.
If I had any criticisms...
Nope. Can't really think of anything that needs improving right now. I might come back in another 10-15 chapters and see if there's anything that needs critiqued.
All in all, this is a fabulous story that has a laidback slice-of-life feel, with hidden plots lurking just out of sight.
I look forward to finding out what happens to Xiao Ren and co in the future. - runewoneRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5(Written after reading Chapter 19)
Its a good time as any to make a review,
This fiction is pretty chill, no bad feelings come from it.
Grammar is on point.
Author is nice.

- ssddxRoyal Road★★★ 3.0wish fulfilment and a bit silly, but i'm intrigued. lets see how this turns out.
- pewpewcachooRoyal Road★★★ 3.0A cultivation story about eating your way to the top. Honestly it was a kinda cool idea, but I wasn't enjoying it much when the girl was introduced to the story. It turned it kinda into a written anime... Not a great idea.
Story was okay, grammar was passible and writing was also passing.
