In a one-shot story aboard a solitary space station in a desolate star system, we see an Observer ruminating over the role they've been given. Once part of a group of overseers of a planet with unknown riches and resources, our lead looks back at why they're there and how things went so wrong... With no idea "what" went wrong in the first place.
