Dystopia? : The Crescent Island

This isn't just your normal Zombie Post Apocalyptic fiction novel. Ok, you got me, it might have some of that. The story follows 14 year old Brian, His 8 year old Brother Eric, with some friends that he makes along the way the newly built safe haven island of "Utopia". Witness as Brian struggles with the loss of his mother and strange events that happen to him. What events are real and which on are part of something bigger? Is any where Safe? Is anything even real?
