Dynamic Equality

With fall of the final resistance of rebel forces, eight superpowers rule in the continent of Funar. The balance of powers hangs by a thread and diplomatic dialogue and the threat of invasion is all that keeps  the eight kingdoms in a quasi state of peace.

The  assassination of the Princess of the Kingdom Lufen in the year 842 is the trigger following which Lufen declares war on the kingdom of Graten. Political manoeuvres and previously forged alliances gradually leads to the involvement of the entire continent into a bloody, drawn out war.

The various royal families of the eight kingdoms have their own ulterior motives for the war, as they are aware of certain deeply hidden secrets behind the working of the world. Each kingdom is notoriously known to be extremely difficult to conquer, despite differences in the size of the armies, with conventional strategies seeming to fail at critical junctures.

Who will end up victorious in this war, and will there be a continent left to rule? What are the secrets unknown to the common people?
