Dwelling

The Alderum Mountain range was notorious. Many precious gems and metals where found beneath their peaks, but hardly anyone ever dared to visit these tunnels. Because they shifted. When you went back the way you came could suddenly lead in circles untill your torches ran out. Sometimes a brave soul managed to find their way out and told wild stories about massive underground lakes, forests growing from the ceilings or sprawling nests of ravenous monsters.

In those tunnels a small tribe of Kobolds lived. Hiding from the creatures that prowled in the darkness, foraging for mushrooms and insects that lived in the tunnel and, above all,neverlosing sight of another member of the tribe lest you get lost. These are just the facts of live. The elders tell stories about lost cities of unmoving stone sometimes, and Niz had always wonderd how such a magical thing would evenwork.
