First, english is not my native langage so I will not talk about grammar (but it did not bother me much).
Second, IT'S SO GOOD, the novel start with the usual trope of dungeon building serie and build something cool and interesting from it. The charactrers have all unique personnality and the MC is not daf.
third, the book is well paced (not too slow and not too fast), at the end of every chapter something has happen that make the story go forward.
honestly give it a try and you won't regret it.

Overall l really enjoyed the story presented so far and I don't really get all the hate thrown at it. I've pretty read up to chapter 51 and I have no complaints.
Looking at many of the other reviews floating around I've noticed a ton of nitpicking. Honestly many of the complaints listed so far are just picking at minor plot events and nothing too important. The story itself isn't bad and as a fellow author I throw down my seal of approval, keeping a story this consistent and fresh for 51 chapters is a major challenge and I have nothing but respect !!!
The grammars good, worldbuilding is great, the dungeon itself may be experiencing minor power creep but that's standard in these kinds of stories.
In this novel, your gonna find your standard well-written dungeon novel with all the progression goodness you can ask for.

A potential of a great story for a dungeon tale.
Most of the chapter from here starting are flashing with tremendous growth of dungeon that is far more than the usual one.
Tho it's a resource that could cause a war. at chapter 18 the humans couldn't really conquer the 1st level. And the core already making a gorgeous safe point and a whole new challenge at lvl 2.
At this stage i was hoping the author dropping some clues for what would happen in the next chapter (the teaser)
Im simply guessing either he call mary for acting as the new mysterious dungeon master. So she could simultaneously dealing with the outside world and gathering resources.
Or waiting for a major outside character
Maybe he could tweak the challenge for each delve of a group or individual.
Or he could just label his dungeon for the highest possible challenge with a boon ofc.

So far, we don't really know the power limit of this world power levels. So i guess it's still doable for the kingdom to be a threat to the dungeon. and the status of the kingdom power itself wasn't detailed, and it could be not that high. So, more challenges for the dungeon to profit from ayy.
And maybe we would see the one man army type of individual strength once the dungeon difficulty has spread out more
a good read, and I'll see the next chapter to conclude the raising potential conflicts.

So here's what I'm wondering with this story. Basically, by the 2nd floor, the dungeon is strong enough to have their floor boss injure an S-class delver. With how S-class delvers are touted to be the end all be all of humanity's existence I begin to wonder. How exactly are regular adventurers supposed to make it to the later floors if the 2nd floor already requires a raid team to complete? Creating new floors is cool and all but it's not very exciting when no one can make it to them.
So far there has been a nice medium of dungeon building and human world interaction/politics. Hopefully, it stays that way and doesn't fall into the trap of moving away from the dungeon building that a lot of other similar stories do.

So first off this is a well written highly enjoyable dungeon core story. Nothing too new but the fundmentals are pretty well polished and the characters seem fleshed out (admitadly some of them could use MORE fleshing out but with only so many chapters this far I think that is going to happen) The core has genuin fears and REAL challanges which is important and alot of core stories do not. Its not a compleat power wank of OP ness real opponents exsist and he has justifable worry.
That being said Either the dungeon core is influcing the MC or the MC is REALLY stupied. He was so happy to get Iron then never uses it. He finds out he can build things but never uses golams for automationΒ  He fears being discovered and rightfully so so it basicly means living in hell if they capture him.. However if that is the case he should be making his dungeon as unhospitiable as possable. basicly he can make mana farms he doesn't need humans for their mana. He should be ramping this. He took a LONG time to make more shadow minions for spying. I am not sure why he is asking for money in his shop instead of only mana. In fact why isn't he just offering to SELL drops for mana (or even just money for mana transaction)? He would be the most popular dungeon for every. Every poor mage, low level advantrue and merchant would be in love with him.
He has a fish thats worth a 1000 a spawn as a fish just make a pond and let the suckers breed. Money should not be a problem for him yet I constantly see him trying to get more of it for some reason that is never explained.Β  Frankly aftert he first floor he should just be upping the danger and he isn't making it as deadly as he could. He seems to be following a tradishional progression which is why I think the core is influcing him instead of his human mind doing all the thinking.

While being another dungeon story might be a turn off for many people, seeing how many people have written poorly made ones, Deluge has gone above and beyond, and really exceeded the norm. He provides a great indepth and refreshing take on the genre. With less blue screens and more of focus on the actual environment and characters. This is certainly the best dungeon core story that I've seen in a while.
I gave a 5 star grammar score because he has few to no mistakes in his stories, and certainly nothing immersion breaking.
I gave a 4.5 star style score because the story is excellently written to keep you immersed the whole time. Many authors suffer problems because of pov changes or weird time skips, or what have you, but Deluge has managed to avoid those problems.
Moving on, I gave a 4 star score for story because though it is a dungeon story, its also refreshing with great ideas and creative elements, and an immersive well written story. It takes a more character and world focused take on the dungeon core genre. Thogh the story has a few cliche or "standard" bits to it.
Finally, I gave a 4 star character score because this story is a character focused one. Characters have purposes and destinct personalities and motivations. From a simple character to a complex one this stands true. THough some characters feel like throw aways, or a little flat at times.

Tho this story could do with another proofreading with the the goal of fixing the few mistakes πŸ˜‰ everyone makes them and they certainly haven't stopped me from loving this story in fact I've reread it multiple times now πŸ˜‚ I love this genre but I was getting a bit tired of dungeon cores that are friendly just cuz
This story gives believable reasoning for the actions the mc takes even when they might not be what we thing we would do I that situation
The story is pulls me in so strongly that I often find that reading the next chapter and the next and the next is all I accomplished that day
I'm not that great with words 😞 but I think if you give the story a decent chance πŸ˜‰ you'll find yourself at the end waiting for more content just like me

I'm liking the story, the progression and the characters. In Dungeon core novels I find the best parts are when they cover building the dungeon, like when they make the floors and monsters and how they go about doing so. This series has a good amount of it, I hope it keeps going like that. If the writer reads this good job and if i could request you post new chapters more frequently.

Yea the main problems with this story is over development and fast pacing, which are weird negatives to have together usually but basically the author speed ran the foundation to start building the house and that caused nearly everything Β in the story to be weaker. Named monsters showed this point the worst because they just instantly start talking and seem important but the reader is never really given a chance to build up a like for those monsters in the first place for it to usually Matter, and these traits are branching to nearly everything in the story so far.

It's good I guess for a story a bit fast paced and it was a bit disorienting when I came to the first POV switch.
The main character gives up his morals real quick, if he even had any from the start which is the reason I am dropping it.
The main character makes some weird logical moves like killing the nephew without even trying to make contact just cause he's afraid of being enslaved, why didn't he even try to move his core?
Then he goes on to kill 5 more people with no regards about it at all and goes straight on to prepare to kill more people.
He can make mana farms but I guess he feels its to slow so he decides to make a real dungeon to kill people I suppose.
But I guess if you like immoral MC's this is for you, gramma errors here and there but nothing that really break immersion at least not for me. Lots of monster evolutions as well something I don't really care about but if you like that its gots lots at least in these few chapters I've read.
