Dungeon Herald

The Empire once stood tall as a mighty bastion of civilization and progress. Composed of the myriad of races, they were peaceful and prideful peoples. The imperial successes were not meant to last, however, as the god of the humans needed a new world, and theirs was chosen. Fractured and chased from the realm by the mighty apostles of god, the humans rose to power and built their cities upon the corpse of the empire.

But that was several centuries ago, and the god's apostles are all dead. The empire is vying to reclaim their land and liberate their people, but they're all but stuck in a different realm. And without a gate to receive them on the other side, only the smallest of groups can be transported, at great cost. The empire knows this. So they send the only thing they know capable of creating an army and gate for them: a dungeon core.
