Genuine question.
Why did you decide to put that whole section in the beginning?
It's completely unnecessary, reads like a sales pitch or a prompt for chatgpt much less an opening to a chapter, and is literally the antithesis to show not tell.
I may not be a very expirienced novel writer but i am a fairly experienced reader and the stories that i (and i know most people agree with me on this at least) prefer not having everything laid out blatently to our faces.
Sure you have your moments where you need to dump some exposition, which integrating that into a story is an art form in and of itself, but this is just on another level!
Trust your readers! They are smart, and they can figure out what's happening!
I will be honest, this might just be me, but after reading that i don't feel inclined to continue reading the novel.
Good luck in the future tho, hopefully this review helps you change your content for the better in the future.
