Dropping onto the Abyss

Our good friend Second Lieutenant Aemilius has a lot going for him. He lives in relative comfort on the moon amidst his cohorts in the Scentific(pronounced shentific) order, has a decent day to day routine, and sometimes he even gets a vacation. But unfortunately for him orders have just come down that really are going to ruin his day, or year, depending on how long this next mission takes. Join Aemilius  and his boss First Lieutenant Karian as they are sent down to the planet Abyss to investigate a magical anomaly. Preferably without dying before or after they get their report back to HQ.
