- RainMaker555Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Just started this book and wow, it's really something. The main character is given an 'actor' class, which is super different and cool. It's not something I've seen before in books like this, and it's got me hooked.
The story starts off really intense, like right from the first page, it pulls you in. I couldn't put it down. And the part where the main character's mom makes a big sacrifice? Man, that hit me hard. It's sad, but it really adds to the story, you know?
I like how the book is written. It's easy to read and keeps moving fast, but it still has lots of good details about the world and what's going on. No boring parts or anything, every chapter feels important and adds to the story.
One thing though, the overall tone feels a little grim, like the odds are stacked against the MCs and that something will immediately go wrong, but that tension is also very interesting on its own
I'm still early in the book, but I'm already giving it a solid 5/5. The whole actor class thing and the way the story just pulls you in is awesome. Can't wait to see where it goes from here.
