Dreaming boy

Joy’s eyes burst open, his breathing panicked and his heart pumped, his abdomen jumped up from its rest, and he looked around, his body shakes from a mysterious sensation.

a large creaking sound was heard, before light broke upon his face, a wall in his previous dark room vanished and revealed something truly magnificent.

an ancient looking pure marble bridge covered in moss that did not alter its luster bestowed itself upon his eyes, at the end of its seemingly endless length lay a module of sorts, the starry night surrounding every inch, bottom and top, of that which was not the room, bridge, or module. Who was he? Where was this? Joy felt if he simply crossed that bridge he would get his answers.
