Description
I've decided that I might rewrite this novel now that I'm somewhat skilled.(I hope)
I'll be going through the chapters one by one, and when they are done, there will be a (redone) or (remade) (something like that) in the titles.
Because I am rewriting it basically from scratch, nothing past the (remade) chapters will make sense anymore.

- PhoenixOfTheNinthRealmRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Well, who would have thought. I just opened royal road and somehow stumbled onto this piece of work, and I admit, I definitely didn't regret this. I won't give too much context, since it seems the author doesn't want to reveal too much information about the story ---> Title/synopsis.
This is quite the interesting take on the pokémon fan-fiction genre, with a protagonist that escapes from the usual cliches you can see on other fics. Despite the turn-off some people can have with the MC's personality, I honestly find that charming, along with the fact he's already an adult. This means room for character development, and a new kind of character we aren't used to read. I've also liked the direction the story is going, sometimes even breaking my expectations.
If I were to summarize it, this is a "realistic" pokémon fic. This makes me glad that I somehow managed to stumble onto this, considering my terrible luck when it comes for searching new stories to read *AO3 PTSD intensifies*
And for the 5 stars review, quite simple in fact. I will not point out all the mistakes I've come across, since they aren't really anything noteworthy, with me liking this story along with the fact I want to support the author, I'll just give this high-rating review.
The only defect I'd like to point out, is that sometimes the author mix up the POV of the story. At one moment we're seeing the MC's first person POV and then suddenly it changes to third person. I don't mind it, since I've seen way much worse things, but I'd recommend the author to check it out.
Thanks for the story man, it's definitely a promising novel and I'm looking forward to read it - FaintRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Look... i dont do reviews. i just dont because i freaking suck at it. the reason im even giving this a review is because this story has way to less readers while it fully deserves a fan base.
sooo here it goes:
Style:
it is a nice read.
Story:
even thou it is a fan-fic and haveing played/read/watch the insanly amount of stories of the world of pokemon, this is a new point of view that i havent seen. its so original that i just fell in love with it.
Grammar:
incase you havent noticed.. i suck at grammar. so i have no idea if it is good or not. but i either read over mistakes or there are no mistakes. so thats atleast better then 95% of royal road.
Character:
the MC isnt fleshed out in the beginning chapters, but it slowly grows to a person who has its own troubles and still tries to be a good person. *SPOILER* DONT READ THIS NEXT LINE IF YOU HAVENT READ THE STORY YET** the relation between gastly and nyx is adorable in a f*cked up way that it broke my heart that they arent with each other atm. but well they prob will meet each other again.
and @Write for fun
Thanks for the story and for getting a title
ooh wow this isnt 200 words long O.o figure how much work a writer does to give us fun with reading.
mad probs for that. - pewpewcachooRoyal Road★★★ 2.5I enjoy a good pokemon fan fic, but this one isn't for me. I don't like the MC at all, so it makes it hard to get into this story. The writing is okay, but it needs work. The grammar also needs work. Maybe a good edit for the whole story. The story itself is okay, but not great. I would say just keep writing author, you will get better with time as long as you try to improve on your weak points.
- SaphyronRoyal Road★★ 1.5It is fair to like, but I simply can't. While horrible at grammar myself due to being dyslexic, I keep finding errors every so often. It is not horrible but not great either.
The story and the main character is what drags it down, it is like the world fits the MC in a way that makes the actions of the MC seem normal. Gotta admit though that the author has made a original spin on the whole fan-fiction, but its not enough for me to like it when that spin is what ruins it for me.
I hope the story and author good luck in future, but this is not for me. - AlphadragonRoyal Road★ 1.0The character is rather disconnective cannot read the first 3,4 To chapters without a headache, did not find a good plot but hope you can write another with a good plot. Am very sorry for the low review but it is a honest opinion of the writing.
have not read any further and am discontinuing to prevent my brain from coming out from my ears.
