- Sondrex76Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I love this story, just like I loved Love Crafted.
It is a bit less serious (not that the original was all that serious either), but still adorable and fun to read.
It has crossovers with people being dragged in from other stories on royalroad, it has Dreamer's tendency to be OP to the degree of a Great Old One (+++) or an Elder God (-), which as usual means normal conflict isn't what the story is about. Anything like conflict, Dreamer can just eat.
Dreamer is Dreamer.
I like the concept of stories like this, although I imagine it's hard to write, since you can't use ordinary conflicts, but instead have to find something else to write about within the context of potential stories.
If you liked Love Crafted, you will probably like this. if you like cute eldritch abominations or cute god-level powerful beings acting like dangerous but also adorable "little" creatures, then read Love Crafted, then read this. I highly recommend it. - SuperVenom101Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0From someone who adored Love Crafted when they first came across it, this story is an absolute gem to read. From the old cast that is still there, to some new friends you meet along the way, it all has that wonderful charm that Raven manages to pack into all of their stories.
This story does have a bit more of a silly premise than the original (hard to believe, I know), but it starts with Abigail and Daphne (mostly Abigail) wishing to start a small tea shop. Obviously Dreamer wants to help, but, well, they aren't always the best at building things that aren't made of tentacles, so she calls for help.
This leads into the main loop of the story, but I don't want to spoil too much for you (unless you read down a bit more, but I did label that section). Suffice to say there are good times, and some sad times, but it all works out to be another charming work from someone as talented as RD.
Basically if you've enjoyed any of the fluffier stories by Raven in the past, this story will feel right at home for you.
P.S. there's hugs and headpats obviously, so bonus points
Spoilers Below - Ye Are Warned
The "Main Attraction" is the way that Dreamer ends up helping. She learns "summoning magic" but takes her own twist on it, of course. This results in cameos from other RavensDagger works and other authors on the site that Raven is friends with (or at least knows well enough to be able to write their characters in, with their permission of course). This spans other works such as Azarinth Healer, Beneath the Dragoneye Moons, and Calamitous Bob, but also other RavensDagger works such as Heart of Dorkness, Stray Cat Strut and Fluff.
Raven also has the ability to truly write in such a way that you believe that it is that author writing it, when it's RD. Extremely impressive imo.
Disclaimer: Am known to be a Dreamer lover, and was very very sad when Love Crafted ended. Seeing this story rise from the ashes has brought me a lot of joy.
