Dreamchasing

The world is an unkind place where bad things happen. Unfortunately for Lyra, bad things happened and her life is miserable. The daughter of a deposed lord, living in poverty and struggling even with daily alms, a mother that doesn't carry an ounce of love for her, and a house that certainly isn't home.

Nothing that will stop her from struggling and maybe, just maybe, finding happiness somewhere down the line.

Admittedly, I'm unsure how long I'll continue this story since it is a first go at writing in literally years. I draw inspiration from a variety of sources and I'm woefully desperate for any and all feedback, so please, read and give a review, it would mean the world to me.
