Description
"Reality is strange. One moment, I'm having breakfast with my friends in a French café. The next, I'm in a dimension where time and space don’t exist. All of this, only to end up in another world, forced to choose: return to the grave or become someone new. If you were in my shoes, which would you choose?"
This is the story of Dalton Xavier, a law student at Oxford University, whose life is turned upside down when he and his friends are transported to the kingdom of Allytheón, in the world of Asgardia. Here, magic is real, and everything once thought impossible is now achievable. Moral choices are constantly tested, and in Allytheón, nothing is as it seems. Every step Dalton takes brings him closer to secrets that could either save or destroy this new world — and himself.

- Blade_MasterRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0I just finished reading the first 10 chapters, and although the pace is deliberately slow, there’s already a considerable potential in this work. The author clearly loves to craft complete, immersive descriptions of the settings—a penchant that shines through in the first three chapters (excluding the first). Every detail is meticulously constructed to build an atmospheric world. Unlike traditional isekais, where the protagonist is abruptly transported to another world, this narrative emphasizes the reasons and circumstances behind that transition, which justifies the more measured and reflective pacing.
The story leans heavily on dialogue, which, while it can sometimes feel excessive or repetitive, offers a deep exploration of the characters’ relationships and internal conflicts. This abundance of conversation invites readers to delve into the protagonists’ psychology and understand their motivations more fully, even if the lack of immediate action makes the reading experience a bit more subdued at first.
Although the narrative places a heavy emphasis on dialogue and rich, immersive descriptions, it has yet to incorporate any significant action. But i don't see that as a drawback, cause it creates a space for the world and its characters to breathe and evolve naturally. This deliberate pacing hints at a thoughtful buildup of tension and complexity.
If you find yourself with nothing else to read, I recommend giving this work a chance. I’m recommending this with some reservations; while it’s too early to say if it will ultimately be a good read or a bad one, the concept is intriguing and shows promise. I’ll continue reading and update my review once I reach 20 chapters.
