Description

Viren is the stepson of the Dark Lord Kastra, also known as the Scourge of Kingdoms. Needless to say, he isn't very popular among, well, anyone really. Life at "home" isn't much better either, seeing as he has a literal dark lord for a stepfather. It's a good thing he's powerful, and has a particularly strong will to survive. It also helps that he just happens to be a dragon.

This is a very fun read and I love the world building and the character. I love the theme of a mythical creature hiding amongst humans it’s hard to find good stories like this one. I hope it continues to update. If you ever decide to write another story please have the MC a mythical creature again hiding amongst humans please.

This book's been a good read so far; it's got a relaxed vibe with its share of low-key drama and a charming cast. Viren's a smart lead, though he sometimes seems a touch too talented without much backstory (why is he such a natural in his new mercenary life?) There are whispers of bigger plots brewing. After getting through the recent chapters, I'm hooked enough to stick around for the journey. The author's definitely got a knack for this, and I'm curious to see how Viren's adventures unfold.
