Dorja the Blade [A Progression Saga]

Readers can expect a cultivation story with a positive female hero who refuses to give up, despite facing a dangerous galaxy, and lots of world-building spanning many different planets, moons, protoplanets and asteroids, as she trains her new apprentice and goes on a journey through treacherous space.This story will go for a long time, with each story arc being broken up into “Books,” which will be clearly marked as we go. If you would like the "cheat code" to skip to the actual beginnings of true progression/cultivation, that begins at Chapter 10, everything before that is setup.I am a martial artist with over 20 years experience, specializing in blades, and have trained several styles and will be including philosophies and techniques, drawing from Japanese iaido, Indonesian silat, Filipino kali and Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA). There will sometimes be innocents put in danger, and Dorja cannot be expected to win every battle, but always her goodness shines through the dark.I’m interested in heroes who do good for the sake of good, and want to promote that. There will be progression and cultivation for both Dorja and her apprentice, though this will not be evident in the first few chapters.

Joined by her new apprentice, a young human girl named Turtle, Dorja must face seemingly insurmountable odds, struggling for survival in a galaxy where civilizations are disconnected, sparse, and resources are few and far between. But nothing will stand in the way of her willingness to do good, to spread the light of her candle, and to achieve Ascension, that great power all martial artists wish to achieve through the mastery ofchi.
