    Basically pokemon, if it was taken seriouslly. Holy cow, this is a great series! You should give it a read if you haven't yet.
    I own all three of the Amazon / Audio books, and I can't wait for MOOOOR! Seriouslly, give this a shot if you haven't yet.
    More words becuase review length requirement. Also I don't want to spoil anything. Seriouslly, this thing is being slept on here on RR.

    I read the books for the series. I highly recommend this tamer series and I hope there are more books coming with a new arc. There are more series by Derek Siddoway that i also recommend as well. This is a great YA novel based around a work where there is beast taming almost is the vein of Pokémon but definitely made into its own world that is just beginning to really scratch the surface of what it can be.

    First and foremost, the knowledge that this story is finished is a fresh breath of relief. Not having to worry about a fic dropping off is top tier.
    A good mix of action and plot, it does take awhile to start getting into the swong of things, which could put off some readers.
    The characters are well thought out, but for the most part, all seem to act in a similar way. Which is very pokemon-like, so it's possible it is intentional.
    I'll be keeping am eye on this and adjusting my review as the story continues. Had to find a good monster taming story.
