However, amidst the jubilation surrounding his newfound life and personal growth, a lurking malevolent force broods in the shadows that threatens to claim all he worked so very hard for.

Once again, Lucian tussles with his position in the world, contemplating the necessary course of action to undertake in order to safeguard what he holds dear.

    Overall
    So far this story is off to a good start. There is definitely the promise of a full adventure filled with magic, interesting characters, epic battles, and mystery. This is a story of rebirth but brings in the fact that there is definitely a lot of deeper details at play. It definitely has my interest.
    Style
    The style is solid as the author does a great job at building settings and themes into the story. The earlier chapters feel vague, and mix themes in a way that breaks immersion. But it all plays well into an overall setting that should prove to be fun.
    Story
    The story is currently in the introductory stages, but is shaping up to have a lot of potential. It has hinted at big events coming as well as started to do some thorougu world building. The plot still jumps a bit and could probably so a better job at establishing the changing circumstances, but there is still a cohesiveness that shows the author has a clear vision in mind.
    Grammar
    I saw no clear issues with grammar or if there was it didn't pull me from the story in any way.
    Character
    Right now the characters are still flat and slightly inauthentic, but they are well desbribed and definitely shoe promise as the story progresses. Introductions are always difficult and shouldn't be counted against the author.
    All in all I enjoyed everything I read so far and am looking forward to more.
