This is not my first fiction, nor will it be my last. It's simply something I thought I'd write, since not enough stories are about dwarves. They're all about demons, and elves, and dragons and things. Albeit some are about goblins and golems and other interesting things, I've yet to find a story dedicated to exploring a version of the dwarf race. Thus, digging holes was born. Not my best start by a long shot, but hey. I've got places to go. I doubt I'll ever rate this higher, but maybe I'll get egotistic and end up going full-on megalomaniac. I'm telling myself this story as much as I am the readers, after all. I think I'm done talking to myself now. I'm starting to scare myself...
