- TinyBookDragonRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Very well done. All the characters have depth, are well thought-out and match what each comic book character would behave like in this world.
The story, world building, and grammar are all fantastic.
100% would recommend. - FireguardRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0High quality story, very few errors, and long chapters. This story is a fan-fiction of the marvel universe through the view of a man who gets ben-10's omnitrix watch [as is appropriately stated in story description].
The story is very fleshed out and I would say there is a book and a half's worth here. Its one of those stories I found before going to bed and stayed up until 4 AM.
Similar to the Onepiece / Naruto stories but without the author constantly reffering to what is going to happen in the future every other chapter. Only issue I have is sometimes getting lost with the setting but I feel its my own error instead of the story. Would highly reccomend googling the names of people who pop up if you have watched the >>>. After the 1st books worth which

Follows the plotline of the Civil War marvel movie, the view changes to Hydra and makes me lose slight intrest. But it reverts back within a chapter, and I understand as it provides the view from the other side and has good story quality that I would expect of the author to have/add.
Overall 9.2/10 [currently chapter 28]. Only slightly worried about the continuance as the size of these chapters is huge. Reccomended for people who like Fan-fic novels, even transported to another world type novels. The later group will likely be a little lost as there are many (accurate) names they will have to google from marvel universe. The chapters remind me of 'The Wandering Inn' and "Atros Imperium" for quality and length if you are ok with a longer read. - Pandora's ReaderRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Usually i don't look into fan fictions because if the author doesn't know what they're doing they'll end up messing up the universe. But when the author knows the universe well and can write it as well as "Dial" is written then that makes it very worth the read. This is hands down my favorite fan fiction and deserves to be where it's at and more.
I like how well the story flows and still feels like the MCU. The chapters where it's not just "Dial" at the helm help remind you that this is still the MCU, there are things going on in the background that could've easily been forgotten or just overlooked but they aren't. This is one of the things i love the most. Details, even small ones, aren't overlooked and even if they aren't worked into the story they are still mentioned to remind you about them. The grammar is fine so not much to say there.
The story is great and doesn't just focus on the MC and forgetting about everyone else. And that makes the characters that you normally wouldn't hear about or just straight up forget about stand out. The characters feel like themselves and despite the changes to the universe they don't seem to be degraded or changed much if at all. The chapters that aren't focused on action are perfect to help build onto this and those characters themselves. Those chapters could easily be left out for a more "This is the MCU, big shit is going on all the time, and hey look the Omnitrix wooow" approach, but those chapters are perfectly placed and delivered in my opinion. - SaurotitanRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0When I first started reading this story, I was worried that a self-insert was a mark against quality. Mahmoud went on to prove me wrong. Between sheer quantity, a quality understanding of Marvel lore in all its myriad forms for the perfect in-joke, and a willingness to create a flawed and human version of himself in a story world where he could have claimed to be perfect like so many other self-inserts before him. A tip of the cap, sir, and a wish for many more chapters ahead
- Kris-forrestwalkerRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Great self insert. I am glad the main character is not suddenly all powerful and can go toe to toe with the greatest of them all and becomes a master manipulator to "guide to a better future" the marvel universe. Realistic progression (it's fantasy so realistic in that sense), the main character is not perfect and the story reflects that well, hidden plots, and a well thought out ripple effect from the self insert. I can hardly wait for new chapters.
- ShaggySchmackyRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5The first few chapters of this story are rather rough and, perhaps, to be expected of a self insert story. Certain actions are not explained (MC punching out his boss, how he built his super computer, why his refrigerator can cook as well as freeze food, etc.) and some plot points feel forced (MC rather forcefully shoves himself into the winter soldier movie). I sometimes found myself cringing in these early moments or asking myself "what on earth is going on?". However, as the story goes on, the author greatly improves the story and generally ties the plot together with the movies well. In addition, he skillfully adds dozens of unique marvel characters, some of which aren't even in the MCU (yet), and he blends the power of Ben 10 with the super hero fights quite well. The characters are extremely well done and match up with canon in terms of personality and the character's interactions and reactions to the MC are well done as well. Other than that, grammar is excellent, pacing is generally well done, and the characterization is, as I said before, phenomenal. This story is well worth your time.
- DealWithItRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I'm on chapter 103. So far the story is awesome. There's been a bunch of Marvel characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and a lot more. I really like the MC he has the Omnitrix and some how isn't OP.
The only one thing I don't like is when the story shifts to a side characters everything is written well and everything but I don't really care what they're doing. It hasn't happened often but that's my only complaint.
Story's awesome - Scipio231Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5Been reading this over on spacebattles, excellent read for the most part, highly recommended to at least try it out.
- JazehiahRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0This one starts off fairly strong. It's got a decent premise with familiar characters. The chapters are of a decent length, and the grammar doesn't make me want to tear my hair out. The story starts off very strong. The characters have their own, distinct voices and they react the way you'd expect them to.
However, it suffers from an issue I see in a lot of fanfictions with self-inserts. I'm not sure what to call it, but as he timeline is disrupted by the new character, the source characters begin to blur together. They lose their distinct "voice," and the core of their character shifts to something of a caricature of the original.
If anything, my biggest gripe is that the powers of the watch last exactly as long as the plot demands. That's a flaw of Ben 10 in general, so I'll let it slide. - 0011Royal Road★★★ 2.5The concept and idea is interesting but it is insanely confusing if you don't know what all of Ben 10's many aliens are, because while I know what alot of them are it was awhile since I watched the shows so when the author suddently mentions a ailen that's hard to remember it gets really confusing really fast
