Deus Armatus (Book One: The Dream)

Deus Armatus is a modern fantasy story inspired by my love of both mythology and Shonen anime like Bleach. Originally started writing this a decade ago and after multiple times suffering from writer's block it's finally ready to be posted.

The story follows Perseus Yates, a young man chosen by the Trident of the Sea God in a reverse MacGiffin scenario. Forced to face the truth of the world he lives in he must now train and compete with others like himself while trying his best to increase his bond with his weapon.
