No time to waste, mortal, as you will be dropped in the action at the first line. Destiny of the Aasim is a gritty an dviolent novel, focused on the moment. World Building will lie, like the Devil, in the details which is highly enjoyable as it nevers slow the fast-paced plot. The momentum is the key of Destiny of the Aasim's success. Overall, this is a well-written novel with a strong lead shining through the witty dialogues and its well-defined storyline.
Somnething to follow if you're into the genre.

‘Destiny of Aasim’ quickly introduces us to the harsh, cruel fantasy world of Raylas, an experienced mercenary who finds himself locked in a battle against a set of wolves. Raylas was an effective and unique protagonist when placed within such a dire setting.
Despite the less than ideal circumstances that he must undergo [probably because of his profession], he still finds it in himself to exchange harmless banter with his colleagues—particularly Goodwill, Rolft, and the Captain. All in all, Raylas is a very well-established character. And even if the other members of his crew were not featured nearly as much [sans the Captain], their personalities shined through the dialogue.
The plot was very straight-forward in its presentation, as the author wasted absolutely no time in telling their story. There’s enough detail sprinkled throughout their chapters to give a clear idea of the world that Raylas lives in.
There was a particular facet to the story that I did not expect so soon. It was a really neat plot point that gave the story a very cinematic feel.
    SPOILER WARNING:
The author’s take on zombies was very unique! From what little I have read about zombies, I always thought they were supposedly created via poisons or infections. As a result, it really was interesting to read a different take on how zombies are body snatchers or creatures who paint the afflicted with their blood.
Overall, I’d say author did a good job on establishing the setting and characters!
