Description

As Einstein once proclaimed, "I do not know with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones," and his foresight echoed through the annals of time. Following a series of tragic events that brought humanity to the brink of annihilation, relentless years of hard work and determination saw the resurgence of societies.

However, the world reborn was markedly different from the one that existed a century ago. While technology returned to a semblance of its former self, civilization underwent profound changes. In a small country in Michigan, ancient Greek customs were rekindled, and the worship of the 12 Gods of Olympus was resurrected. This revitalized religion, however, had to intertwine with new traditions. Now, a young boy, handpicked by "The Gods," is destined to live as the Chosen One of his city.

For his fellow citizens, this appears to be the epitome of an ideal life—popularity, acceptance, desirability, and wealth. Yet, when he unveils the truth, he can no longer sustain this artifice.

As the Chosen One grapples with the dissonance between societal expectations and personal convictions, he discovers that the seemingly idyllic life he leads is built upon a foundation of deception and hidden truths. The narrative delves into the complexities of tradition, adaptation, and self-discovery, offering a poignant exploration of a world reborn from the ashes of its own demise.

This being the first story that I fully read from my new profile, (at the point it has been written)  since I lost my old one where i used to review and comment on a lot of stories, I can see some good potential and a good story teller. First things first the story has a nice pace and a logical order to the story. The characters have a nice background and the world setting has a lot to offer and work on. Not sure about if all these people will offer something to the story,  but i guess we will found out. The history of the world also seem really intresting and i liked how small details about people beliefs were implied. Last but not least, the dialogues feel real enough and you can understand things for the characters by them. To sum up my review for these pages, not the best first 10 pages that I have ever read, but it surely shows that it will be a brilliant story with future and at this point it is worth reading. By knowning writters like you and the way you work, i wait to see you continue like this and do not destroy this beautiful idea.
Good job mate, continue like that.
