Description
The ancient world of Shal spins through its lonely existence near the cusp of the Void. Eons have passed upon it, far from the Celestial Axis and even the piercing gaze of the Eye of Heaven. Now a divine Mender named Rae has traveled to its surface, ready to perform the rituals and procedures that keep a world running steadily.
What she expects is hard work. What she finds is utter ruin.
Trapped upon Shal with only a single companion for aid, Rae must push back the corrupting forces ravaging it, restore the once pristine planet, and return faith to the mortals the Celestial Hierarchy has failed.---My Nanowrimo/Writathon entry. My intent is to release a ~2k chapter every day.
For this story, I have given myself permission to write crap and not care if other people think it is crap or not. Please treat this as a rough draft.
The MC is a demigod, she starts at a superhuman level and must get stronger to save the world. That said, she's a fixer not a fighter. Her goals and progression are centered around fixing and healing the wasteland, not personal power.

- RhymingAndChimingRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0SJReaver has been a consistently brilliant writer in everything I've read, and this is no exception.
A fresh, interesting take on the standard LitRPG tropes, looking at them not as 'business as usual' but rampaging, out of control problems to be solved. A fascinating premise that I look forward to seeing explored in full. Care and attention has been put into every aspect of the setting thus far, which is important to the story as a whole, since it's primary motivation is to understood the world and watch it change and grow.
The style is lush and grand in scope, casting your eyes up to heaven and making you consider the place of all of this. I would say the raw feeling of it all is one of the most important and powerful aspects of this: the story feels bigger in a way that makes it very satisfying to read. There are small moments, but they exist to create an interesting contrast to the size of the events that are occuring. It creates an interestingly solemn tone without removing the sheer fun of the story, and it makes reading feel buttery smooth. Naturally, the core mechanics of the writing aid with this, excellent voice, flow, and very few errors in punctuation, spelling, etc.
In total, this is one to watch, and everyone who doesn't give it a try is a damned fool.
