Dawn of the Density God [Progression LitRPG]

Description
Madra: A planet stuck on hard mode set to devour everyone on its surface.
Jiran is just a child when he receives shattered, imperfect memories of a past life. Nestled inside these emotionless visions is a magic very different to the density and mana he knows, the magic of science.
The empire stands alone against the relentless beasts of Madra. Their only means of survival is harnessing the density that saturates her surface, a magic they cannot possibly understand. Will Jiran realize he holds the key to unlocking humanity's infinite potential before they are all wiped out?
A cultivation LitRPG with a magic system that will blow your socks off, or your arm, or both your legs. Who knew magic+science could be so explosive?
Author's note -Madra is a logical, realistic, fantasy world that unfolds organically as the story progresses. You won’t always get answers when you want them, or all the juicy details when a new mechanic is introduced, and this is by design.
Enjoy the art, someone, somewhere, worked hard on it and we love her for that.
Release schedule - Monthly batch releases around last Friday.
Books 1 - 4 can be found exclusively on Amazon, because, well, even authors need to eat ><
If you're coming from book 4 on Amazon, then you'll want to start herechapter 202

- AlaskaRuthRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0My Overall Score is a Five Star. I would give this story a higher score if possible. I absolutely love the original version "Density God", but the additional LITRPG adds "more" to the story, which I've always wanted from the first chapter. It's like the author read my mind. I can't wait to see how this new version of Jiran unfolds.
Style Score: The author's unique style is very "Original", unlike any fiction I've read before. The descriptions of the planet Madra and it's three suns plants my imaginations firmly in Madra. I begin to feel as if I'm an actual observer of the events as they unfold.
Story Score: The Story of Jiran, Rise of the Density God is gripping and transporting. The inner strength and determination of the Madra population is gripping. The descriptions of the peoples' unique skill sets as they develope from infancy takes me beyond "Magic". The Madra citizens are a force to be reconded with. Then this small boy Jiran steps out and develops skills far beyond the Madra normal in the most likeable, determined, and believable manner.
Grammar Score: The grammer is good. The author quickly corrects any suggestions, but few are needed.
Character Score: I dream about these characters, the author makes them that real. I cannot wait to see how the story unfolds, as my favorite characters develop. Carry on Toraakr! Show us what you've got! I hope to be reading the works of this author for many years to come.
Art Score: The art adds to my imagination. There is much to this author and his Team that shows they are serious about bringing us the best possible reading experience! - Monkey D. DaddyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0start was somewhat cliche but it become good later on... I am still at chapter 30 but story doing well..... much better than many other average stories... mc is okey he is gaining strength gradualy which is good part of story.... expencting it to focus on kingdom building or researching on later part of story....
- Nova JRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is some of the good stuff like the story manages to flow in such a interesting way that you are left wanting for nothing from the mc to the side characters to how powers work everything to comes together to give you that perfect story. So yes I recommend this story to anyone who has the time and even those who don't.
- PlanarDrifterRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Frankly, incredible. It's not often that you see a litrpg, or a cultivation novel that's fun to read, and mixes in enough traditional fantasy to be less cringy and easier to understand, and enough of the original inspiration to stay fresh.
Not to mention fun to read moment to moment with enough skill from the author to actually draw you in rather than sputter out with a story that goes nowhere or breaks down into a slog. - PunpopeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0In a world besieged by relentless beasts, humanity's survival hinges on understanding the enigmatic density magic. With Jiran's unique insights, can they unlock their potential before annihilation? Prepare for a captivating cultivation LitRPG with a groundbreaking magic system that promises explosive surprises. The magic is pretty neat as well, recently there have been some harem undertones which is pretty uncool
- Sean Oswald David BurkeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is not my book but sometimes I love a litrpg so much that I want to shout out about it.
Dawn of the Density God was one of those. Even better because at first I was ready to give up on it. Yes this book is in competition with my recent releases (on the same lists etc) but I was a reader of litrpg before I was an author and this is a good book.I can't review them on Amazon because I'm an author- so I thought I'd review it here.
The bad: (I'm getting this out of the way to eliminate your excuses for not trying out this gem of a book. If you want just skip down to the good parts to see if this is the type of book you'd love.)
1) The cover isn't standard for the genre.
Response: who cares. Covers are to get attention- I'm shouting about how good the book is so I've already got your attention.
2) I didn't like the title at first. Not a fan of some of those titles which make me think of poorly translated Chinese web novels.
Response: that's a small thing, get over it like I did
3) The MC's age. He is listed as 7 at the beginning of the book. He acts in a way that no 7 year old is going to act. If you called him 13 or 14, I'd believe he was young and all that. Maybe it shouldn't have mattered but this single fact threatened to destroy my suspension of disbelief more than magic ever could.
Response: It took me a while to get past it, but by that time the amazing story telling and unique world had sucked me in. I would urge you not to let this keep you from enjoying what I'm considering to be my favorite new litrpg of 2023.
The Good Stuff:
1) The MC does a great job of combining magic and
2) The MC's attitude is great. He is both optimistic without being foolishly trusting. He is bold and takes risks while being aware of those risks and he works on growing throughout the story.
3) It is a story told 98% from the perspective of the MC with only a few small bits from the perspective of others which really add to our understanding.
4) The character is both a loner in that - TheProudfootRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Just finished book two of this series and have thoroughly enjoyed the ride. The author seems to have gone into this book with a solid understanding of the kind of world and story he wanted to write, and it definitely shows. So many fantastical elements of the world are treated as Tuesday without having to call attention to the fact that they're being treated off-handedly. It's reminiscent of how ATLA treats its mutant animals as totally normal. So far, he has managed to successfully refrain from sacrificing his entire world on the alter of "Whoo, game mechanics!" and I so greatly appreciate it!
The world is very well made, but the characters ate a bit of a mixed bag in places. The main character, Jiran, straddles the blatant self-insert power fantasy fence, but he has enough humanizing qualities to keep him grounded enough. He's plenty likeable for the most part, but his occasional dives into 21st century reference jokes typically end up being distracting to me rather than humorous (though a few have elicited a chuckle, I'll admit). The side characters generally are engaging, and the occasional perspective shifts give nice insights into their own goings-on. They don't get all that much focus, especially in book one, but that isn't necessarily a bad things. Altogether, the cast is good enough to do the job, and everyone so far has been pretty likeable--or suitably unlikeable, as the case may be.
The writing style is overall very good. Hat tip to the author for successfully managing to talk about a person's actions without over using "he did," "Jiran did," "The young man did," etc. Being able to write around that is harder than it seems, but it makes a story read like a legitimate book rather than a blog post. The author does a good job of expressing emotion in his dialogue and personality in his narration.
There are some things in the writing, though, that seemed off to me:
1) "Woah." Major pet peeve of mine. The word is actually spelled "whoa."
2) Comma splices. I'm - VoidadaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The story has a good worldbuilding and a loooooooooooooot of potential , it lack a bit in character developement but its not the worst nor the best , the MC i love his character and the fact that his knoweledge is somewhat consistent with the magic system , i think what lacks is tension and real stacks for the MC , because of the cudling that he receive from his masters , i find it a little empty .
overall it's a good read with untaped potential that transmit the dedication of the author :> - amiguruleighRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Where science meets magic, super cool. The author really put effort into making the stats and damage numbers real along with the skills and techniques used. It's in-depth and super nerdy. I usually skip stat sheets but it's always fun to see the growth compared to others in the world of Madra.
Book 1 on Amazon is well worth it and continuing on RR for book 2 is exciting. The patreon is super affordable and wowza on that book 3!!!
The world is interesting and one-of-a-kind. It makes me think of what mysteries are lurking about and many spoilers I want to mention but won't. It's definitely a world to get sucked into but also deadly. The most recent chapters on RR had me sitting on the edge of my seat with suspense.
Overall, the grammar is flawless with some accidental slips of the keyboard but doesn't deter from the story one bit. The conversations are actually exciting and not talking to a wall or pedestal.
The characters are real!!! Not everybody wants to bang the MC and he's committed to his one partner. The characters have lives of their own and are fun to read and learn about. The MC is power hungry but what MC isn't? He tests his limits and blows stuff up with the power of science and magic!
Great read. Worth binging and spending that parreon money. Also cool art, well placed. - J. Rod.Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I had no idea until i caught up to the story that it was a rewrite. This story is leauges above the original in my opinion. Once i caught up i NEEDED more so i went to the original with more chapters and it just doesnt compare. This story isn't fighting other stories on royalroadl anymore, its fighting its predecessor and its already won. Bravo
