- Cryo216Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5What can I say, seems like an interesting story.
It starts like most Isekai / LitRPG, but the more it goes on, the better it gets. The cast is diverse and each one of the characters have a diverse and well-defined personality. Caelus, the main character, has a LOT of potential and I can't wait until he's explored in more depth. The whole idea of reincarnating as an old warlord who had his own sins is a very neat troupe.
The power system might seem basic at first but there's beauty in simplicity, there aren't any confusing stats that clog up the screen. The progression feels fair - it's neither underwhelming nor straight up broken. Fight choreography is neatly done, I'm curious as to how creative the author is going to get with the abilities and matchups. There's a lot of room for experimentation and if done right, the outcomes will be amazing. The world-building isn't too complex, it serves its purpose and allows for an interesting setting.
I recommend following this story - the setting is one that allows for a lot of potential development. I know I'll be following it for sure. I hope the author continues improving and there's a greater focus on Vorrath's past.
P.S. The cover art is the first thing that caught my eye, it's pretty nice. - JuliusSneezerRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Its a classic LitRPG adventure: with a hero and their party navigating a new world around them. Is it an overplayed trope? Maybe, but its well-written as of chapter 11. Based on what the author has so far— it has potential. There's good attention to detail in the world building, each of the cast has pretty distinct and diverse personalities and/or abilities. I'm a sucker for well-written LitRPGs, so what can I say? Looking forward to more.
