The level of skill demonstrated in the writing was remarkable, especially for someone who is just starting out. Despite some typical beginner mistakes, the author's writing style was superb and displayed a natural talent for creating vivid and believable worlds.
In terms of the story itself, the plot was fast-paced and engaging, with plenty of twists and turns to keep me on the edge of my seat. The author did an excellent job of creating a dark and eerie atmosphere that added to the tension and suspense of the story. The world-building was also impressive, with well-developed settings that were easy to visualize and imagine.
However, while the characters in Darkened Realms were well-written, I did feel that they lacked a certain depth and complexity. They were interesting and relatable, but not quite fully realized enough to truly stand out. That being said, this is a minor critique, and I am confident that with more experience, the author will be able to develop their characters even further.
