Thorn, a wanderer with a sharp eye, a keen sense for danger, and an enigmatic past, arrives in Halrest just as the balance begins to tip. His quiet power makes him an unlikely ally as he becomes entangled in the town’s strange rituals and hidden truths.

Among the townspeople is Selis, a reclusive shaman whose warnings of impending doom have long been dismissed by the village. Yet, his unsettling connection to the lake suggests that darker forces could consume the town if left unchecked. As Ada, Marin, and Thorn begin to uncover the hidden truths beneath the surface, they start to question the ancient magic of the village and the whispers of power that echo from the depths of the waters.
