Description

Life comes at you fast, and Julian Marco’s life is one flat tire away from being the worst kind of country song.

But the blues may soon feel like an afterthought, once Julian wakes up in a hellish shadow dimension, with no idea how he got there or why. Forced to fight for his very survival may cost him his remaining sanity. Well, that or the fresh pair of fangs and burning lust for blood. Little does Julian realize what happens in the darkness could have drastic consequences for the rest of earth. And discoveries await that may just contain some dark secret from humanity’s ancient past.

Note:This is a story I wrote years ago. It isn't complete, but I had a lot of fun with it. Since my primary focus is on Evil Eye: Hexcaller, chapters will be slow to update. I'm going to shoot for once a week, but we shall see! I hope you enjoy it!

    For anyone thats read the other book the authors written, this is very different. I liked his other book but dropped it eventually as its not really my thing, so definitely give this one a try even if they're other book isnt your thing.
    Right off the bat it has a great hook to get you invested at the start. Really well written and totally drew me in. I will preface this by saying i am a complete sucker for dark, grimdark and depressing books. Which this book probably fits into a sort of hopeful dark category, bad things happen to the main character but it seems like something he can overcome and all that.
    The book, like the title says, is just solid all round, but also exceptional in some ways. The worldbuilding mystery and the litrpg system particularly are very interesting and definitely a step above and quite innovative in their own way. I think the author is also starting to explore the main characters past and personal motivation/traumas in the more recent chapters, which i think only bodes well for future chapters.
    The fight scenes are well done, i'm never big on them anyway but the author defintely keeps them pretty snappy and tense. Though there's only so many ways you can read about someone fighting a smallish four legged creatures with sharp bits in about a hundred different books before it becomes a bit rote, if somewhat necassary.
    Anyway really good stuff, super compelling and keep up the good work.

    So far everything is decent but pretty unremarkable except for the way the world,the magic and the "system"works, those are especially interesting and I figure this can be a pretty decent vampire(?) fiction.
    Almost forgot to add but the prose is pretty decent for what you'd normally find online as well, it's pretty easy to read.

    Just Wow.
    So far this book has been nothing but fantastic, amazing, wonderful, mysterious, and intellectual.
    Filled with slight horror, action, and a crapton of mythology this book has completely blown me away so far.
    Well written with strong pacing and grammar, In my personal opinion the crown jewel of this title so far has been witnessing the many references to mythology and different ancient histories that the author has made.
    From enemies, abilities, and the system itself in this story being themed after cultural entities from a wide variety of cultures.
    Hats off to the author, you did an amazing job and I cant wait to see what other mythologies or stories you tie into this masterpiece that popped out of nowhere.

    From the first chapter I was hooked. It's way too easy to get immersed in this story. That should tell you enough. The word building is fairly interesting so far. You can tell a lot of work was put into it. I find myself googling a lot of the creatures that show up.
    I just wish there were more chapters to read. I'd prefer if this was the main story, rather than Hexcaller.

    Bit early for an in-depth review, but i want it to gain traction and so far the MC has been both likeable and reasonable. The world seems interesting  and the way of advancing is a bit unique. Solid so far and his other work is really good. Worth a chance.

    This seems more promising than most stories !
    The mc has an actual personality and a good background.
    As for the plot, I don't really know where it's going but it's very mysterious and insteresting. The lit-rpg system seems to have some very good ideas, especially since he seems to incarnate a role.
    The fights are quite good and doesn't seem to be the main focus of the story.
    I hope we will see more of the initial characters of the first chapter
