Dark Star is a casual, purely self indulgent power fantasy featuring an over powered main character with a dash of harem relationships, wrapped up in a dark fantasy package. Much like its setting, Dark Star is rough around the edges and lacking polish. its a bag of chips, not a steak, if you're in the mood for that kind of thing.Due to the nature of it's content, Dark Star is intended for adult audiences only.

The title is really misleading (An Unapologetically Self-Indulgent 18+ Power Fantasy). The MC has a lot of problems; the main ones for me are:
Stupidly impulsive
Overall, pretty flat as a character
He also constantly apologizes for everything and is non-indulgent. Even with a party full of women who are sexually interested in him, nothing significant happens most of the time. When something does happen (twice so far), it’s either due to a ridiculously stupid reason or as a backlash of his power. It never comes from him, and he just keeps trying to find weird justifications?
What’s even more aggravating is that he keeps repeating the same excuse—that he doesn’t want to force the women in his party. Saying it once would be fine, but he brings it up every single time, and as a result, the relationships never develop.
Also, the harem members aren't particularly likable (except maybe the elf and half-elf). Most of the time, they feel like a burden, and their reasons for joining the MC are pretty unconvincing in some cases.
The villains come across as cartoonishly evil, with rapists, pedophiles, cannibals, etc., in a hyper-misogynistic, racist kingdom. It just doesn’t work for me—it feels edgy and gratuitous.
The novel still has some potential. The world-building isn’t that bad, and the MC’s powerset is interesting.
