Not a big fan of time loop, but I love space opera, so once deciding which one was more important to me, I ended up reading. And let me just say, it was absolutely worth it. Dark Space starts off strong, creating two different perspectives to the overall plot that already begin to weave threads that will seemingly connect.
Style wise, I like the overall flow and feel of the pace and formatting. I also personally love the multiple point of views for both events. The time loop works in a way that doesn't aggravated me, amd the story maintains its space opera flair wothout getting bogged down in an overuse if scientific jargon.
Story wise, I like what I see so far. Two events that (hopefully) connect at some point. Both intriguing amd enough to hook in readers on their own.
Grammar wise, everything checks out. There are your standard errors that everyone has, but nothing so glsring that it fully took me out of the story.
Character wise, I really enjoy the many versions if Andromeda amd those aboard her ship. They have distinct, clear personalities. Keisha and Fiollas start out a bit static, but it's clear that they will round out as the story progresses.
Overall, this was a solid way to spend time. It's an enjoyable and intriguing story that seems to be geared up to do big things. And I can't wait.

Soft science fiction has always been one of the more favorite genres of mine. It doesn't make much of an attempt to explain its futuristic setting or technological aspects but rather explores societal, philosophical, political aspects in a science fiction setting. Thus it has to be read as such to immerse oneself in this story and enjoy what it has to offer.
Style: Some expositions and descriptions were too long but they were more frequently interesting to read through than not. The author manages to build a believable world, with believable conflicts through her writing. Yet I could not help but think the writing style could be worked upon more to improve the overall flow of the story.
Story: GREAT STORY. The first book is mostly about the internal struggles the planet is going through and the various roles the characters are playing in them. Conceptually it is sort of an investigative journalism story with intrigue and mysteries to uncover, but I think there is much much more that will be slowly explored in this story. Especially with the tag of Time Travel, and I genuinely am wondering what the author has up her sleeves.
Grammar: There were grammatical inconsistencies here and there, but the author is actively working on them.
Character: The characters and their interactions are really well written. Especially the High Journalist, a very interesting character with interesting quirks. Also liked Shreya's emotional tone throughout the story. Most of the characters were distinctly written and felt very different from one another, definitely a mark of a good story in the making.

The story is about a pilot and navigator crash landing on a planet that is different than expected. The story is well-written, fast-paced, and centers on the world of space colonization/exploration. Each chapter is easy to read and builds on the previous chapters. Readers new to science fiction will be able to easily follow along as the stage is set for the main characters to learn how to survive in a world that is very different than the scientists back home anticipated.
Fun read - eager for more!
