Description

When the daughter of an infamous dark witch, desperate to prove that she can do good with magic, fails to qualify for an education at New Rhinehart Academy she is forced to attain her power in an all too similar manner to her mother. To make matters worse, she becomes the sole  witness to a vicious attack from a ghostly animal, an attack which many assume she had some nefarious connection to.

    I like the prologue. It has a Harry Potter feel, but the 'chosen one' in this case ending up considered evil will be a nice twist I think. I especially like the fact that you set up that skill (or maybe something else?) eliminates the need to yell out spells.
    Anyway, lots of potential. I will update my review as more chapters are added.
