Description

After the death of his father Daniel Rhodri was forced to drop out of college and take over the family business, an antique store that goes by the name 'The Shoppe of Oddities'. Receiving a strange package one day Dan's world is flipped over once again as he finds its contents are a Genie named Amani. Who sent this package? And can Dan survive the hijinks of this genie girl? Will his life ever receive some normalcy again? he doesn't know, but he is going to try.

Like my other novels this one will be my take on standard Harem anime/I Dream of Jeannie mix(Trust me it will work lol)but without a Bricktagonist(The main will know when the girls are coming onto him.) So expect there to be crazy magic and lots of sex, probably lots and lots of sex...

Not too long back I was searching for novels to read, found one and my interest was immediately hooked. After leaving a comment/rate the author posted a response telling me about their other novels. Having found more time to read I decided to 'just read a chapter.' Lo and behold it's 6:30 am for me and I spent the last 5 hours reading everything up to the latest update. Although i had some hesitation in reading a harem story as most follow some pattern and the ones I've read leave me not having any impressions of the harem members, my expectations were wonderfully proven wrong as there is more to these characters it isn't just solely dominated by our male mc. The writing is fluid and easy to read, and best of all the story is truly a joy to read.

I started reading this thinking it would be another harem story like My fiance is an alien(same author) And while it is, I think the author is doing a better job at fleshing out the characters, so read this if you want a good harem with great chars.

Good: You can really tell when the author gets into some of these confrontations and or small moments between characters really good until something smacks you right in the face.
Bad: Sara gets thrown right in your face page one and personally didn't feel like a character until Bastet got involved due to the lack of buildup besides "oh Dan's so great"."
Ugly: Nothing crazy bad but not a huge fan of...missing stuff. And I can't explain it but this felt like it was !missing something. Maybe a stellar book three that fixes all? Prob not.

Four chapters is the most I could take. The MC might not be a brick when it comes to women(according to the author), but he is still a fucking idiot.
Sees a genie, thinks it's a prank, because, obviosly, women appearing out of bottles is completly normal and totaly not magic(sarcasm).
Gets dropped from a few km, for something that is her fault. AFTER freeing the ungrateful bitch. Just lets her stay at his place. And not because he's afraid she'd kill him(which would be natural), but because he's such a niiiice guy(eye roll).
Basically the protag is a doormat. The genie is a manipulative bitch, though she's not good at first and good at second.
There are a few other plot holes, but at this point I wasted on this story more than it deserves, so whatever.
