Daemon Dungeon Core

Description
Corin, also known as Cor, just died. Synthetics attacked his city as he was being escorted out and, unfortunately, the shuttle he was on was hit. No mysterious truck-kun for him, no saving so random person or close friend. Just being in the wrong place at the wrong time. But what if his experiment was a success? What if he somehow kept himself and his knowledge as an expert magi-tech engineer?
I'm writing this casually so I don't really expect much out of it. I just thought it would be fun to do it so it will go basically wherever.

- TechPriestRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0good grammar and the MC was interesting, will update this once more chapters are released.
- omega0915Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I like what I've read so far and hope to see more chapters. No glaring issue in grammer or spelling.
- Mighty MoushieRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5There are some interesting ideas, and I like the direction the dungeon design is going in. Nothing is overpowered, and the main character isn't all knowing which is another bonus.
Grammar is better than most, though there are a few minor issues. Don't worry, they aren't nearly common enough to break immersion. It does seem to be a bit info dumpy so far, but that could change once things start going. - mufarasuRoyal Road★★ 2.0Currently at Ch 9.
5 stars for me is perfect. Which nothing is. 2.5 would be average.
Gave this a try because I was bored and wanted to see if this managed to do anything with the dungeon theme besides tired old tropes. Short answer? No. Chapters are also fairly short for something that's a biweekly release.
Style: Like the title says this sorely needs expostion as it literally has none. Right now it's like reading a constant stream, no a deluge, of thought. This gives hardly any time for the reader to breath, and makes it easy to just plough though the content. Took something like 10 minutes to read up to chapter nine.
It also tends to be hard to picture stuff because we just get the character monologuing to himself instead of descriptions of what's happening. There are attempts to include this in his thoughts, but that's all they are. Attempts.
Story: Basic dungeons tropes. Author adds his/her little twist to it with what seems to be the intention to speed up the starting cycles we've all read through a hundred times, but it makes the overall feel of the story shallow as we skip all the build up with a lot of handwaving on the scope of his abilites.
Also MC is slightly rapey? I dunno, questionable thoughts with sort of out of the blue sexual scenes. They feel like they're just thrown in there. There seems to be some things that imply the core is influcing him as it's "daemonic," and he's now the core, but nothing has been cemented yet. So this might just be a rape novel. Who knows?
Grammar: It's fine. Improper use of commas, but few errors otherwise.
Characters: MC seems to be another victim of pointless reincarnation as nothing I've read so far couldn't have been done without it. Just some flavourless sprinkles on a top of a cupcake dungeon story so far. This may change, but not yet. Pretty dull character otherwise. He has embraced his new status and is doing everything a regular sociopath would do.
Vio the dungeon fairy is as basic and useless as it gets. Nothin
