William ends up amongst a bunch of misfit time travelers and their offspring. Being from a time long passed, his body is horrendousy maladapted for using mana. He's even allergic to it. Hunky druids are the new "people" and Will himself is referred to as "an ancient." Just getting by was never Will's kind of thing. Somehow he hopes to get out of the ancients' ghetto and make a fortune off killing rabbits.
