It's been 700 years since the end of Humanity's technological golden age, with horrors unimaginable unleashed upon those who survived. The great technologies humanity once controlled unquestionably have long since gone rogue, and mystical energies once studied have been let loose to cause havoc.

Let despite these overwhelming odds humanity still lives, if only as squabbling remnants trying to rebuild with imperfect knowledge and lackluster tools. How much has been lost and forgotten? Perhaps they will never know, but if humanity and its derivatives are anything its stubborn.

In the wastes of North America the Guild and its Guilders fight against the monsters scourging the lands and seek out artifacts of the old world. They wield the artifacts of the old world themselves in their endless struggle, and powers derived from the monsters which they must fight. Our story follows one such Guilder, exceptional in strength and skill perhaps, yet wretched in standing. But despite this the actions of him and those he will soon call comrades will echo throughout the entire world, and stir powers both cutting edge and ancient.

Author - I created the cover myself, and obviously my talent doesn't lie in art. But better to make something pretty bad myself than use some AI trained off of stolen artwork.
