    ★★★ 3.0
This is the story of how Daiden does his best in another world.
Daiden, on purpose, gives himself high hurdles to overcome. Daiden is driven by his past.
Daiden asks to have his past on Earth forgotten, which is a considerable task considering that he was in the limelight as an athletic star before his body was broken.
Part of Daiden's drive stems from the experience and expectations from that past, which seems to haunt him whenever he faces odds that are stacked against himself.
Daiden finds himself in a fantasy world and vows to save this new world from the destruction that is devouring this new world. (Om nom nom. 🍪)
The adventure is very slow but steadily plods towards a worldwide conclusion. There are a few side characters viewpoints that give clarification about plot points the main character doesn't know, but this story mainly focuses on the main character, Daiden.
I don't remember finding spelling or grammar issues (not that I was trying) therefore this is getting full marks on spelling and grammar.
This story still has the potential to slowly grow into something I enjoy. However, for now, this is an average isekai story with a long overarching plot. I am looking forward to see whether this story will stay the same or if it will slowly tilt towards falling flat or bouncing up into something enjoyable. :)

    ★★★ 2.5
I tried to read this story, but the style of writing somehow makes it tiresome to read. I noticed I was skipping paragraphs and words without feeling like I missed anything. Like events were happening but they are all treated as stepping stones that nothing felt important. The main character barely reacted to anything and he feels like a very flat character.
I did like the backstory of the main character and the drive it gave him, but it should have lasted a bit longer or better worded to make me care more about the mc. Just the way he
died while answering a pay phone and got decapited somehow
was very anticlimactic way to start the series and I felt nothing from it.
Grammer and spelling was good. I don't know if the use of big words all the time was what made it tiring, but I didn't feel taken out of the story by anything.
The world building was just starting at the chapter I stopped at and should have been something to grab my attention. Yet I didn't care because the mc didn't seem to care. He just responds to this new word with promises to make a mark this time around... like duh that's all I know about you. No questions, no hesitation, no enthusiasm, nothing.
