Cultivating Slime

A cultivator who dedicated his entire life to cultivation ends up failing at the last moment. His soul is thrown into the void, but he continued to cultivate his soul, allowing him to continue to survive. For an eternity, he wandered around the void, with only his memories to keep him company as he continuously fought off the dissipation of his soul.

That was until he chanced upon a goddess in a pure white room, giving him a second chance at life... as a sentient ball of slime.
