Crown's Blood

How do the gods make the world more entertaining? The answer is simple really, just fuel human desire to its limit... fuelgreedto its limit.

Individuals known asapostlesare said to possess god-like powers granted by the very deities the common folk worship, and these people would become warmongers and tyrants who towed the land of Epistaris into endless violence and bloodshed in their pursuit for more power. However, a hundred years after the end of this war, the apostles would resign themselves to their kingdoms and let their court take over the responsibility as they indulge themselves to pleasure or rest. Their source of power, thecrown blood, would be passed down through their concubines and such as more and more superabled individuals would appear.

This story follows the bastard child of one of these apostles, Asher Direwrought, as he aims to kill his wretched father.
