Description
Story continues on Webnovel under "Prince of Nightmares: Banished to Hell With a System"
As punishment for the crime of being born "wrong," Lokus is banished to a foreign world where power reigns supreme. A place where the worst of the worst are cast to after death, a land said to be one of eternal suffering and solitude. A land called the Aldark.
Hell.
With newfound power coursing through his veins, Lokus embarks on a relentless ascent, driven by the desire to seize control of a world that once pushed him aside.
But the path is treacherous, and he must begin at the bottom.
Aided by his Phantom Monarch System, and the mysterious Shadowfire Clan, Lokus would bring Talisma to its knees for its transgressions.
.....
Readers will learn about the world as Lokus does. However, if you have questions and I deem them okay to answer without spoiling anything, I'll be more than happy to reply. Otherwise, you'll have to wait for Lokus to learn about them.
The power system is inspired by both cultivation novels and rpgs, and the world itself by several fantasy books I loved growing up.
If you like gritty scenes, systems, no harems, and struggles between good and evil, this might be the story for you.

- One Way JusticeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Story: We got thrown right into the thick of things, with our MC who his waiting for some mysterious ‘coronation’. Already, there’s a tense and dark atmosphere that keeps you on your toes. The Phantom Monarch System is an engaging way to measure power, with different possible affinities that drastically change the way in which characters fight and interact with the world (and with some cool transformations to boot). Ah, but something goes wrong... perhaps our MC has tapped into something he should not have. The plot collapses around him—it’s about more than just power and status now. It’s about survival. Very cool twist, even if you know it’s coming. Locks you in immediately, and you want to learn more.
Characters: Lokus is our MC, and fortune does not (entirely) favour him it seems—certainly not initially. From a hard-knock life scrounging up the cash to even take his shot at fame and glory... to the disastrous unravelling not long after. He grows both in power but also in vision: he learns about the world and his own moral fibre. His will and his body will both have to be steeled in order to survive, let alone thrive. The emotional complexities are taken on board by the author, which is a rare enough sight in this subgenre that I think it worth pointing out.
The side characters (like the Hirun) are a tad less developed, but that may change as the story unfolds.
Style: The author paints a vivid picture of the scenery and the action. A sparse style of prose, but very readable.
Grammar: Solid. No major complaints.
