I felt the presence stiffen, the hound behind me readied itself to lunge, with me as its target. They were awfully cautious for a pack of hellhounds against one feeble man.

I roared at the wall, My voice bounced off and was swiftly cut off my a sharp pain my shoulder. I felt my world get yanked down and in my heart I accepted that this was the end.
