Jane Stevens is not a normal princess she would rather compete in a duel than go to a ball, and she controls the elements of fire and wind. Her powers are a mystery to her, so she must hide them from the outside world, which gets harder and harder by the day as she is getting ready to take over for her father as the ruler of Darkwell, but before she can she must meet her extended family. Jane meets a family member she never knew existed and together they must navigate the journey that started before Jane could even set foot on the foreign soil.
