Description
Logan never wanted to be a hero. He never considered himself as anything other than an ordinary man. Sure, he taught self-defense classes during the week and volunteered at the local homeless shelter whenever he had time but that, to him at least, wasn't anything praiseworthy. So, imagine his surprise when upon dying he was given a choice to either move on or be sent to another realm and continue helping humans. He found it odd that they said humans and not people, but he spent his life helping people so this would surely be no different right . . .right??
Can this new dungeon core save the humans of this new world from becoming extinct at the hands of the other races.

- Lord_of_AvalonRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The is an excellent and fun story to read. The MC is non cliché as in his not a murderhobo (yet maybe?), and while practical is still thus far humane. While is it the MC pov the other characters still have their personalities shine through. An for the most part the grammar is up to standard, making it enjoyable to read and instead of parsing it out.
- CheanRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0The story of one Dungeons attempt to save the humans of this world. An enjoyable story, just different enough to set it apart from your average storyline. A few issues with regard to the quality of the writing perhaps, but not enough to break the immersion or detract from the story. I'd definitely say give it a go to any prospective reader.
- MorrowjustinRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0A map showing the progress of city reclaimation would be a great addition. Also an explaination on why the human he can talk to can't talk the the other humans for a layout of the surroundings would be a good plot hole issue fix. Other than that, good pacing and good story.
- SmiteElWinterRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5I really wanted to like this story and I would love to read the rest, but only if the author goes back through and fixes all the inconsistencies and overly confusing descriptions (I would recommend some sort of map). There were points where it was very clear the direction the enemies were coming from, but then the MC would send people in the opposite direction to look for those enemies.
The story is a little slow paced, but I actually quite like that for dungeon core stories.
Another problem I have is with the lack of any strong emotions from the mc. The mc talks about wanting to keep his humanity and that he is someone who protects humans, but when he finds out what has been happening to people he just brushes past it.
Finally, the numbers. I really like how the author went with a style of dungeon where it isn't just a wall of stats and numbers for the reader to keep track of. That being said, it is very odd what the author decides needs exact descriptions. Some spells are measured out to the cm but the size of an attacking force is not specified until part way through a battle. Without giving anything away, at one point a group of less than 20 is referenced as an army, and then later another attacking force is called an army as well but it isn't until over halfway through the battle that we learn the starting number was well over 100.
I will be revisiting this story later, hopefully some of these issues have been fixed. - tikiiriaRoyal Road★★★ 3.0If you go into this looking for a dungeon with themes and cool creations, variety and monsters; this isn't that. It's a mostly surface kingdom builder with one controlled, unchangin environment per dungeon and mostly basic fantasy creatures. The grammar is okay but it seems like a checker got away with the evil auto correct : do instead of due, since instead of sense, etc. It's very repetitive like a mobile kingdom builder game. Click scout, click claim; not really much creation. Interesting idea and a pretty tame not murderhobo MC. World building was slow but okay and missing history was fine with the plot. The ending was abrupt and it felt like it was too many cliffs left not one.
2 handled : dungeons aren't plotting against humanity. Humans are reproducing.
dealing with races plotting against humanity - not really handled
God's- not handled
Reincarnation promise - never mentioned again. MC might become the immortal kingdom overseer of the humans. - TyrialfrostRoyal Road★★ 2.0It's been over five years in-story.
The MC has yet to find the boundaries of the town and refuses to ask allies how far it is. The MC also refuses to purchase new spawn types just the same old.
One of the biggest decision points every single chapter is which direction to expand what seems like a single meter in. It has almost zero impact on the plot as he uncovers random building B or random foundations C, yet every chapter you will hear about it. - Arcantos the StorytellerRoyal Road★ 0.5While the concept is engaging enough that this story caught my eye, I will be brutally honest in that this story is of such low quality I'm astonished the author was even willing to publish it here.
As the title of the review said, everything is too rushed and stilted. With nothing more than basic facts and emotional statements given to us. The first paragraph alone could easily and shouldbe doubled or tripled in length, giving us time to sit and soak in the atmosphere. To let us enjoy the scene and get to know the characters involved. Everything so far is so flat and emotionless that it is impossible to forge a connection.
The author needs to drastic slow down what is happening, make the flow of each chapter better, and give us time to enjoy the experience. As is, I can't even begin to talk about the broader strokes of the story because the core foundation is so horrible I can't read this.
