Description

That exclamation mark in the title sure makes the story sound fun and exciting, doesn't it?

And it may be-- if you count waking up post mortem as a meatball with a mouth fun, or fighting for your life exciting.

But one thing we can agree on is that I'm going to survive, no matter what it takes... once I figure out how.

---

This story follows the new life of the MC as he fights to survive in a Dungeon with a gamelike system. Being a Hero is no longer in his future, but whatever is will have to be forged by his own hand!

Not really sure what to put but I just like the story and I am intrigued on what character does next any time I see a new chapter.
I mean him having an actually humanoid body to transform into is great and extremely exciting to me as the possibility to introduce an entire intelligent monster that could think with the capability of a person is extremely exciting to me and dangerous to the adventures.
Most of the current plot is extremely interesting and if it keeps being as interesting as it is I would probably binge read like 20 more chapters right now and continue to like the story.

    TL:DR; Surprisingly good.
If you're a seasoned veteran of the "dungeon Monster Isekai" -genre then the beginning of this story will probably feel very… generic. I thought I'd read some 10+ chapter, leave a review and carry on when I started, but the story somehow snuck behind me, knocked me unconscious and dragged me to the most recent chapter.
At the time of my review, this story starts out pretty mediocre but picks up steam very quickly after the first 10 chapters or so. There's some background intrigue already rolling and despite not originally seeming like it the protagonists actions have fascinating and far-reaching consequences.
The protagonist feels more like a changeling than a mimic and has recently gained a "humanoid" form, but is nowhere near to integrating with polite society nor is it clear if he ever will. No becoming a monstrous pet in sight either, which I feel is the most common pitfall in these types of stories. Only time will tell what type of monster he will end up becoming.

classic monster isekai story; things were pretty rough on the protagonist in the beginning but they power through it, just like any good main character would.
it looks like this story might have been dropped, but i really enjoyed what i read.  good luck to the author! 🫶 🫶 🫶
