On the Eo Isle, a land with many different factions of saurians, we follow the story of Zukus, a utahraptor from the Zuhai clan in the nation of Kikuyat. He experiences a major tragedy during his childhood, inspiring his friend to form a special fighting group within their clan. Will they succeed, or will they fall?

ABOUT

A comic series by Achak Mahihkan and her husband, Silver. Achak makes the graphic design and artwork, while Silver does the writing. The story follows the adventures of the utahraptor, Zukus, as he faces perilous challenges and tough decisions. Connected Skies is a popular dinosaur comic that made its debut on Webtoon in December 2019. Since then, it's garnered many followers and over 340,000+ views.Connected Skies was even recognized at a convention!

HOW DID "CONNECTED SKIES" BEGIN?

My husband and I began the comic in December 2019 after playing The Isle. This comic is in no way associated with The Isle, but our love of dinosaurs was sparked by the game. In it, we played as a utahraptor and a dilophosaurus, which became the inspiration for Zukus and Slate. I didn't even know how to draw dinosaurs when I first started, I just winged it. Over the years, I got better, and I think the improvement is very obvious as the volumes go on.

WHAT SAURIAN SPECIES ARE THERE?

Though not an extensive list, the following species live on the Eo Isle; utahraptor, dilophosaurus, allosaurus, ceratosaurus, tyrannosaurus rex, giganotosaurus, spinosaurus, carnotaurus, eoraptor, microraptor, yutyrannus, alioramus, cryolophosaurus, ubirajara, tapejara and more.
