Description

Laila Bryne was going nowhere with nothing to lose.  Dead end job, dead end future.  Trapped in an old fashioned American town she knew she would never escape from.  The wasteland of middle-america, where the only things seen are desperate faces, suburban neighborhoods, and golden arches.  Life could not be any more monotonous, not to mention she has to take care of her sickly mother.  She sits at the counter of the localGrab'n Saveconvenience store each day praying for something to happen.  An armed robbery, a handsome stud, a heroic act...Anything.  Little does she know that when she drove home that night, she would leave this earth to go to the land of 'Anything'.  Elendil, the cosmic sandbox, which most would describe as a "lawless, chaotic world", will be her new home.  Conquer or die.

Brian locke was graduating high school.  Four years of hijinks and senior pranks and he would "piss out of his stupid ass town to greener pastures", as he so eloquently put.  He was college bound and ready for a change, but change would not encounter him in the way he expected.  Driving to his ceremony at the highschool gymnasium with his parents and litte brother in the backseat, he suddenly saw a pair of headlights in the oncoming traffic.  Thus began the end of Brian's budding future.  The descent into darkness which began with a simple little *crash*.  The only future which Brain will seek is revenge, for his...Misfortune.

Just saying that if this person keeps on posting chapters like the first one, this is going to be a very good sotry.
A tried and true transport concept, but it just seems well fleshed out from what I read so far.  Looking forward to new stuff.
