- magical heartRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0this is grate it takes kid-friendly fantasy advancer to a whole new level. this story is wonderful and I love everything involved in it. the MC is the sweetest little cinnamon bun ever and I love it. There's a well-developed world as well and everything is just great.
- 99BigbearRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Read the entire book on Amazon little grammar and spelling errors here and there but nothing so serious that it would change the story. The characters are constantly fleshing themselves out adding new quirks to the characters to make them more real in the mind of the reader. The story pulls you in and makes you want to turn page after page of the story. Put together all these elements and you have another wonerful story by VRDraco.
Though I wish he would finish writing the second book of the Slime Tamer's Chronicles or The Mystery of the Dungeon those were also good books.
With good intentions a fellow reader and amateur author. - Rowing SaylorRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0A fun novel with plot armor built in realistically. The author writes a fun world of fantasy with all your favorite childhood stories. It is a whimsical tale that people can read and enjoy the growth of the dungeon. Not a deep read, but still enjoyable.
- Hunter GordenRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Mapping out the creatures that are in the dungeon can help with dungeon books.
- bladedanteRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Great story btw in the synopsis u might wanna mention the book is up for free on Amazon kindle if you have kindle unlimited
- raven_daturaRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0I have a little problem. I find a book I realy like and am like: "wow that was great, who wrote this!" then I look and who's name do I see? "Damn, Its Nathan Valerio (VRDraco on RR) again!". how does this guy write so many diferent stories? sigh. I realy like this author, the only problem is that this guy has so many ideas that he cant comit to a series. my favorite book of his is definitly Clockwork... sadly it hast seen the light on day in two years (TT^TT) . Anyways I was supper happy to see that this book got a sequal at least.
This book is another Dungeon LITrpg. They have been pretty popular lately; I myself love them a lot. The twist that this dungeon book gets is that the dungeon's soul was a little girl. because of this she wants a peacfull fairytale filled dungeon. her mentality shapes her dungeon into a place filled with dreams. If I were a bit younger, that dungeon would probably be the ultimate dreamland for me too. its that sort of place. I cant help but chear her on and wonder what story she will bring to life next time.
overall, Its a great adition to the ever growing Dungeon story genre. anyone who loves those will need to give this one a try. its not as gory and action filled as most dungeon storys, but its got its own charm. - KiokuRoyal Road★★★ 3.0The writing is fine and the idea is great, but the characters are just so, so annoying that I can't bear to read for long periods. That and the author is using reasoning that is flimsy at best for the expansion, which is just bothersome.
- Fenyx39Royal Road★★★ 3.0I really liked this story, and am sad to be dropping it. Creative concept and so much potential for different ways this can go. What killed it for me is when she makes a treaty with a land nation that allows slaves into the dungeon and also obligates the dungeon to make regular stops of 2 days. This is just asking for trouble and why. You are literally floating in a cloud, then tying a chain to yourself. Instead, they should find a group of locals willing to abide by their (the dungeon’s) rules.
- shangmgRoyal Road★★★ 2.5Unfortunately, this author does not improve with time. I have tried a few of his other works, the starting ideas are quite interesting and original, but the problems come later.
He rushes to write dungeon building without giving any more profound thoughts for the book background. It results in a very simplistic plot. There are many situations where the characters make choices that do not make sense. These decisions bring quite often completely illogical consequences. Primarily the story works as long as you turn off your brain.
Characters are flat, two-dimensional puppets. The main character is annoying at best. The 'evil' Archmage is an unbelievable simpleton. In fact, most of the characters act, like they were dropped on their heads multiple times.
Also, the last point is grammar and readability. When your grammar is so bad that your readers need to guess many of your sentences you should know it is terrible. It is not the rock bottom, but far below the RRL standards (which are not that high anyway).
I mean after so many titles almost zero progress there. If anything the author fortifies his lousy grammar. - Alex RaalRoyal Road★★ 2.0Spoiler: Spoiler
the characters ether do not have a personality beyond protect the mc or they are compleatly inconsistent. clover for instance starts off as an overly emotional but competent dude, and then suddenly he becomes a ratiuonal and likable guy who doesn't actually do anthing signifigant leaving it to his students and just accepting what they sugjest or give him.
Also tampering with duneon cores seems to be sothing that has precident as well as even curuppting spirits inside dungeons yet for some reason they act as though what he has done is unthinkably intolerable when as the leading reaserch of a fairlly powerfull nation his understanding of the world should be fairlly mainstream but everthing that he sais is dissreguarded and never brought up again so if he is so widdly aknowlaged as wrong how is he also seen as a genious, who litteraly has the royal library under his given domain, that can counsesl the queen on non-magical topics.
second of all is the abbused token character Waid. the story is all about girl power so it is understandable if the men are incompetent, one demintional (the two jacks as prime examples), or evil, but this kid was enslaved by clover had his spirit imprisond in a plant and then had his dungeon powers userped and used by clover. so his dungeon fairy takes him to the MC's dungeon where he is forced to hand over all his mana, striped of his dungeon control powers, and is incapable of leaving until someone else (his dungeon fairy) decides he is not traumatized by what has happend to him. and when tries to do anything or lashes out he is seen as the bad guy only when he willinglly gives up his autonamy and just suports the MC who is daiametrically opposed to his way of doing things is he treated as a good boy by the other characters
