Clearance to Land

Humanity dwells among the clouds in teetering skyscrapers, cut off from the world below. Deep inside the Tower Glorious, in the workshop of Technomancer Elric, a mind awakens. Terravis is a sentient ship designed to go where humanity cannot - down below the clouds to reclaim their lost lands. But Terravis is growing and changing, and how long will she want to obey?

Clearance to Land is a slow-burn cozy steampunk/scifi story of emergent AI sentience, sapphic romance, ruthless overlords, and a world choked by toxic smog.

Update 09/09/2023 - CLT is now complete, and will be left up for everyone to read for about a week. On September 25th I'll be publishing the final draft as an ebook on Amazon. CTL is written as part of the Inkfort Press Publishing Derby, where anonymous authors are given pen names and front covers and asked to write a story that fits them.

Update 23/09/2023 - The final edited version CLT will be published on the 25th on Amazon as an epub, and the chapters have been deleted on here. A paperback version will follow at the end of the year. If you enjoyed it please think about buying a copy of the epub!
